This is Nate's grandma and grandpa Huckstep. They are WONDERFUL!!! They are some of the nicest, most giving, incredible people. We were so blessed to be able to spend time with them while out in Boise.
I think we made a total of 3 batches of homemade ice cream with them over the few months we were there. The boys loved that and even got to help turn the cream into ice cream.
Grandma Huckstep has these three pink stools that have been around for ye
ars. They worked out just perfect for my kids to sit up to the counter on. Grandma brought one out for Linz the first time we went over for ice cream and both of the boys wanted one too. And from then on out, they all asked for these stools every time we went to the Hucksteps. (It might also have something to do with the fact that we ate ice cream every time we went to Grandma and Grandpa Hucksteps' house.)

Nate loves to tinker in there when we visit and Ethan is showing this same love for working with his hands. Grandpa Huckstep makes these super fun wooden toys and gives them away to his grandkids on their birthdays. Ethan (and dad) made this wooden toy all by himself. He saw this cool truck and thought it would be fun to put a helicopter blade on top. He called this is "helicar." He was so excited and proud of himself.
