This sign was an EXTREMELY wonderful sight to behold after being in the car for 2 days straight. The kids did great on both the way out to Idaho and the way home. We made great time both ways. The weather was not so great going out in December, but coming home we couldn't have asked for better weather.
We have been back in Ohio for one week now and it is really good. Ethan started school again for three days and is now on spring break for a week. Our house is almost put back together and we are getting ready for a super fun visit from Nate's brother and his family for a week!!!
Apparently we missed, literally, the storm of the century here in Columbus. A blizzard swept through the day before we drove back into Columbus and dumped, a record, almost 2 feet of snow. When we drove in on Sunday afternoon, the roads were all clear and the weather was great! Church was canceled that day and Ethan's school was even canceled for Monday. Ethan was so bummed school was canceled; he was so excited the whole way home because he would be able to see all his friends at school again just to discover he'd have to wait one more day. It actually turned out to be a good thing because we all had a hard time getting up in time to get Ethan to school on Tuesday. We lost 3 hours coming home to Ohio from Idaho, so it took us a few days to get adjusted.
