We had the pleasure of visiting Nate's sister, Stacia, and her family in their brand new home. That had their dream home built around the theme of a log cabin home. Their main living quarters are on the upper floor; kitchen, bedrooms, etc. which makes it seem like you are in a tree house when you look out the windows. It is truly a beautiful home and we are so happy that we were able to see them and their incredible home.
All the cousins (our boys and Stacia's 4 kids) slept in the great room for the night. We laid out sleeping bags and they did really well going to sleep. The great room has a wood burning stove so it is the warmest room in the house; the kids all slept really well.
The McKee's plan was to put up a hammock in their great room for the kids to swing on and relax in. With the help of Grandpa, they got the swing put up while we were there and it was a huge hit with all the kids. They got swinging pretty high and even Linz didn't want to get out.
